Reinstalling Windows Didn't Do ♥♥♥♥ For Me, Im About To Build A New Computer So I Hope The New Computer Will Launch It. I only have a factory overclocked GPU but reinstalling windows fixed the issue for me. 1 of a GB every 10-15 mins, it would eventually climb faster and faster. It was pretty obvious that the application had a small memory leak, usage would go up. I did everything in my power, every suggestion that I found on the forums to correct the issue. Originally posted by Andorial:I had this issue since launch, gta5.exe has stopped responding. I didn't want to remove the OC, but if it lets me play the damn game, screw it. I literally did everything on the boards I read about, and nothing fixed the issue, this was the only thing. I'm wondering how many people on these forums have pre-built machines that they paid for an OC out of the factory, and aren't even aware, whatever the case. However, I did correct my random crashing. That's an issue that can't be fixed from our end, at this point. However that's predictable, you can see when you're reaching the point where you're going to run into issues. That one crash is completely due to the memory leak that is still there. I could play for 10 minutes and crash 3 times or play for 2 hours and crash once.Īfter removing the OC, I've played a total of 6 or 7 hours with only one crash. It would crash at anypoint, completely randomly, with no reason behind it. I removed the OC, and just ran an X.M.P profile. Never experience any BSOD's or errors since that date. It's a stable OC that I've been running on my rig from day one. I didn't even think about removing my overclock on my CPU until last night. To the point where I'd get around 7.2GB usage out of 16GB and it'd just hardlock. I had this issue since launch, gta5.exe has stopped responding. ![]()
